Former WWE Superstar and Cruiserweight Champion nzo (formally Enzo Amore in WWE) announced during his recent appearance on the Store Horseman podcast he is returning to the ring at the Northeast Wrestling Prison Break event in Poughkeepsie, NY on August 16.
The Mid-Hudson Civic Center is the same location of nZo’s very last professional wrestling match which took place on January 21, 2018.
nZo made the announcement of his in-ring return at the 5:49 mark of the podcast. He also indicated that he has not yet agreed to an opponent, and noted that he never lost the WWE Cruiserweight Championship.
Also scheduled to appear at the event, which includes a pre-show meet-and-greet is WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler, WWE announcer Renee Young, CAZXL (formally Big Cass), La Park, The Lucha Bros., Jon Moxley, Dustin Rhodes, and more.
