AEW reportedly in “advanced talks” with WarnerMedia for a weekly televised show

AEW TV deal negotiations

According to a report by The Wrap, All Elite Wrestling is engaged in what is being described as “advanced talks” with AT&T’s TurnerMedia for a weekly televised show, most likely landing on TNT, the former home of WCW Monday Night Nitro from 1995 – 2001.

Back in November 2018 AEW filed for a number of trademarks including “Tuesday Night Dynamite.”

It should be noted that the deal is “definitely not signed,” but the goal is to have a deal in time for the mid-May upfronts – an annual event where television platforms present what they will be airing for their fall programming. AEW will be presenting Double or Nothing on May 25, which will take place after the upfronts.

The report also states that the show would have a “multiplatform existence” with Turner B/R Live potentially being an outpost. It also states the television show may not be on a year-round schedule.

We will continue to follow this story as more becomes available.
