During last night’s Ring of Honor TV tapings in Lakeland, Florida, NWA World Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis asked Marty Scurll to be his partner in the Crockett Cup.
Scurll instead decided to challenge Aldis for the NWA World Championship. Aldis accepted and the championship match is now set for April 27 in Concord, North Carolina.
The NWA and ROH will be partnering that same night for the Crockett Cup. New Japan and CMLL will also be sending tag teams over to take part in the tournament.
