Northeast Wrestling held a live event in Poughkeepsie, New York last night at the Mid Hudson Civic Center. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports the show had nearly $100,000 gate advance, one of the strongest gates for an independent show ever.
IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega defeated Fenix in the main event, while Rob Van Dam def. Jack Swagger in the co-main event.

Former WCW World Champion David Arquette made a surprise appearance during the show, interfering in the Jerry “The King” Lawler vs. Brian Anthony No DQ rules match. Mick Foley also made an appearance helping out Lawler during the match.
