Former WWE star and current ROH producer Joey Mercury was arrested over the weekend in Chicago where he was around to help produce the big “ALL IN” event this past Saturday.
Mercury was found by police sleeping in his car on Saturday morning outside of the Marriot Schaumburg and after running his information, found that he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest in Orange County, Florida.
Mercury is currently held on $2,500 bail ahead of a court date scheduled for Tuesday that may led to Mercury being extradited to Florida to face those charges. There has been no information as of this writing as to what the charges Mercury has against him in Florida.
Mercury had been with WWE as a wrestler and then as a producer up until 2017. Mercury then began working independents, notably with Tommy Dreamer’s House of Hardcore, before being signed by ROH earlier this year to be a producer and to help run their new wrestling academy in Baltimore.
