Tracy Caddell, father of current Impact Wrestling star Trevor Lee and one of the founding members of the OMEGA Wrestling Promotion, passed away on Sunday. As of this report, Caddell’s cause of death is unknown.
Caddell helped spawn the careers of Matt and Jeff Hardy and Shane “Hurricane” Helms. During his wrestling career, Caddell wrestled under several names which included T.C. Brimstone and T.C. Flexer. Caddell retired from in-ring action in 1993 leading to his involvement in the CWF Mid-Atlantic Wrestling promotion.
Outside of his time in pro wrestling Caddell worked as a car salesman in Sanford, NC.
Matt Hardy and Hurricane Helms took to their Twitter accounts on Sunday to post their condolences which can be seen below:
I just learned that @TLee910 lost his father today as well. Trevor my friend, your Dad was incredibly proud of you. I’m very sorry for your loss.

Heartbroken by the passing of my friend, Tracy Caddell, father of Trevor Caddell. Tracy & I founded ECWF, which became OMEGA, together in 92. Tracy was physically limited after a bad accident in 93, so he eventually became @TLee910’s biggest supporter & promoter. RIP, my brother. pic.twitter.com/MvncKpdewL
