NJPW announces Strong Style Evolved event on 12/15

New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced that Strong Style Evolved will return to the Walter Pyramid in Long Beach, California on Sunday, December 15.

From their website via Medium, NJPW wrote:

It’s been an explosive 2024 for NJPW, including in the United States. From San Jose to Chicago, DC to Ontario, there have been memorable moments across the States this year, and we’ll have plenty more in the last American NJPW card of the year!

Strong Style Evolved hits Walter Pyramid on December 15 in New Japan’s first event at the venue since the spring of 2023. With the card taking place just three weeks before Wrestle Kingdom 19, and Wrestle Dynasty in the Tokyo Dome January 4 and 5, there is sure to be a lot of attention on Long Beach, and not just from NJPW wrestlers. What will happen when Strong Style Evolves this December?

The last event under the Strong Style Evolved banner took place in March 2022 at The Coliseum in St. Petersburg, Florida, with Jay White taking on Chris Sabin in the main event.

New Japan’s history with Long Beach goes back to the G1 Special in USA weekend of shows in 2017, with the city later hosting the inaugural Strong Style Evolved and Fighting Spirit Unleashed events in 2018 as well as the last two rounds of the 2019 Super J-Cup.

Tickets for NJPW Strong Style Evolved 2024 will go on sale Friday, October 11 at 3:00 pm Eastern.
