Wrestleview.com’s Editor in Chief Adam Martin spoke with TNA Impact Wrestling star Robbie E this week about being part of the 25th season of “The Amazing Race” premiering this Friday (9/26) on CBS at 8:00 p.m. Eastern (7:00 CT).
Topics discussed include what wrestling fans can expect tuning in for “The Amazing Race” as he teams with his real life girlfriend and TNA Impact Wrestling star Brooke Adams, why he is all for TNA taking time off to regroup in 2014 with the future of Impact Wrestling on television not yet determined for the new year and why he is confident about TNA going forward in 2014.
When asked about the direction of TNA with television tapings wrapping up in Pennsylvania last week and only one event scheduled for the rest of 2014, Robbie had this to say.
“You know, I think January is just coming and we are figuring out what is going on with our TV deal. I think it is just going to be a fresh start for television tapings, fresh start for live events. So I actually think it’s good to take a little break, regroup and change some things up. Change is always good. As far as a blank calendar, right now, you know, of course TNA Wrestling is my heart and number one. But with everything going on with “The Amazing Race” and CBS right now, I’m fully occupied.”
