PWO Tag Team Titles – Greg Valentine & Jim Neidhart defend against The Clash
This past summer, two wrestling legends made history as ?The Anvil? and ?The Hammer? captured PWO Tag Team gold, proving they still had quite a bit to offer to the professional wrestling industry. However, Ernie Ballz and Brian Bender of The Clash are out to prove that it is the dawn of a new era in tag team wrestling, and hope to eliminate Valentine & Neidhart once and for all. Rumors were running rampant on the afternoon of the event that Valentine had been injured the night before thanks to a sneak-attack from The Clash in suburban Cleveland, essentially leaving Jim Neidhart at 2-on-1 odds. Would the plan of divide and conquer work for The Clash or would the legends persevere? The PWO Tag Team Championships hang in the balance.
PWO TV Title – Virus vs. Super Hentai vs. Omega Aaron Draven vs. ?Big Bear? Benjamin Boone
Four very unique and diverse personalities converge, with the winner becoming the first ever PWO Television Champion. The gutsy and courageous Omega Aaron Draven qualified with a win over Bobby Beverly, though severely injured ribs have severely affected Draven’s condition in recent times. Omega has never met a risk he didn?t take, and is ignoring doctor’s advice and entering battle. Benjamin Boone qualified by defeating Gregory Iron, and has been undefeated since joining forces with ?Amazing? N8 Mattson this past spring, and his lived up to his nickname of ?Big Bear?, mauling his opponents with power. Super Hentai qualified on a recent tour of Rio de Janiero, Brazil, and has a history of establishing newly-created championships. This young veteran hopes to use his controlled intensity to lead him to victory. Virus has been on the outside looking in thanks to being denied title shots by PWO Champion Josh Prohibition, however was granted an opportunity in this match-up, after PWO’s Championship Committee deemed him more than worthy. Which of these athletes will be the last standing? That man will be the first ever PWO Television Champion.
Hailey Hatred vs. Portia Perez w/Eric Ryan
Hailey Hatred has been a thorn in the side of Eric Ryan for a number of months, but rather than accept Hatred’s challenge to a one-on-one match, Eric recruited one of the top female athletes in the world today. Portia Perez has made a name for herself in her native Canada, all over the United States, and throughout the free world, but makes her PWO debut in an attempt to eliminate Hailey Hatred. For Hailey it’s a battle of pride, and to prove herself worthy, and prove critics such as Eric Ryan wrong. Will Hailey be able to overcome Portia? And will she have a chance for revenge on Eric Ryan?
All this and more this Sunday night, exclusively on Sports Time Ohio!
And don?t forget, PWO TV – Season 3 officially premieres Sunday, October 18!
