October 30th: As you are probably aware, DGUSA announced a double shot in Phoenix, AZ on Wrestlemania weekend. The shows will take place on Friday, March 26th, and Saturday, March 27th. There is an article in the DGUSA.tv Feature Articles section with more details. We stated that we would have ticket and other information by the end of this week. However, we are still working out some stuff and will have some announcements next week. We can announce now that the Friday event will be the first ever DGUSA exclusive DVD taping. The DVD will be released just a few weeks after the event so you know this card has to be special. Saturday will be a huge pay-per-view taping. You better believe that we are going to pull out all the stops for both these events. Davey Richards and The Young Bucks are already confirmed for both these supercards. There will be six man tags on both shows. The tradition is back!!! Check DGUSA.tv next week for more info.

November 3rd: Brian Kendrick vs. BxB Hulk has been signed as the “Redemption” first round match for the tournament on Nov. 28th in Philadelphia at The Arena to crown the first ever Open The Freedom Gate Champion. That’s right, Kendrick vs. Hulk. Did you ever think you would see this match? Both men are looking to redeem themselves with victories. They each bring considerable skills to the tourney and both can be consider among the favorites. November 4th: The final first round match for the tournament on 11/28 in Philadelphia at The Arena to determine the first Open The Freedom Gate Champion has been signed. The “Generation New” six-way bout will feature Nick Jackson vs. Matt Jackson vs. Jigsaw vs. Gran Akuma vs. Johnny Gargano vs. Lince Dorado. These six have shed the label of “tomorrow’s stars” over the first two DGUSA events to prove they are the new generation. Now they will each have a chance to take a place among the elite by becoming the first DGUSA Champion. Here is how they each earned a chance to put their name in the history books:
-Matt & Nick Jackson: You know them as The Young Bucks and they immediately proved to be the foundation of DGUSA by defeating Dragon Gate veterans CIMA & Susumu Yokosuka on the first show.
-Jigsaw: Not only has he stepped up as a leader in the CHIKARA locker room, but he scored the fall in the eight man bout on the first DGUSA event.
-Lince Dorado: This high-flyer won the first ever FRAY! on 7/25/09.
-Johnny Gargano: This crafty ring general was the victor in FRAY! on 9/6/09.
-Gran Akuma: The hard-hitter proves that crime does pay as he has made an impact by siding with YAMATO.
