W.A.R. Wrestling Celebrates 10 Years in Lima, Ohio on January 19th, 2013
LIMA, Ohio, January 19, 2013 – Wrestlers and wrestling fans from all over the United States & Canada are coming to Lima, Ohio to celebrate W.A.R. Wrestling’s 10 Year Anniversary and Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on January 19, 2013 at the UAW Hall in Lima. The event will feature a 2 Ring Steel Cage War Games Main Event, and the W.A.R. Wrestling Hall of Fame induction of Lima’s own Al Snow.
Since its debut show in 2003, W.A.R. Wrestling has produced over 100 shows in and around Lima. During that time, hundreds of wrestlers and tens of thousands of fans have participated in the independent wrestling phenomenon. Now, they are all invited to reunite and celebrate ten years of quality professional wrestling entertainment in Lima, Ohio.
The event will commence with a Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony honoring 7 highly respected individuals that helped grow professional wrestling in Lima. W.A.R. Wrestling will induct Al Snow, “Sweet” Stevie Lee, Crusher Kline, Jim Lancaster, and the tag team of “The Nightmares” into the Class of 2013 Hall of Fame.
Then W.A.R. Wrestling will present “WAR X”, an internet pay-per-view event featuring 7 matches that have been anticipated for over a year. The card features a KO/Submission Match for the W.A.R. Wrestling championship, a 2/3 falls grudge match, and a USA Vs. Iraq Flag Match. In addition, 5 up-and-coming stars will battle it out to crown the first Respect Champion, TLC for Tag Titles and W.A.R. Wrestlers of the past and present will compete in a 2 Ring Over-The-Top-Rope Battle Royal.
General Admission Tickets are $10 in advance at Groamy’s CD’s and Tapes, Clubhouse Pizzeria, or online at www.warwrestling.com. Reserved 2nd and 3rd row seating is available for $12 in advance. All tickets purchased the day of the event are $15 at the door. Doors open at 4p.m. The Hall of Fame Ceremony starts at 5p.m., and the “WAR X” show starts at 7p.m. Reserved Ringside is already sold out!!!

Twiggy’s campaign coming to an end? Plus more action!
The following is a letter sent to us from Twiggy, by way of his lawyer, which we received last night:
“It has been close to one year since I began this campaign. This journey, if you will.
It has been close to one year since I declared that I was on a mission to eradicate ladies “wrestlers” from C*4.
In the past ten months, I have seen many ladies step up only to fall. Fall hard.
With that being said, I came to a realization after my victory at C*4’s “FIVE” event.
After facing (and defeating) a returning challenger for the first time in ten months, I realized that perhaps my mission may be coming to a successful end.
Is it actually at the point where there are no fresh or brave new challengers? Am I really being subjected to having to defend my prestigious title against confirmed and glorified losers?
To the distinguished C*4 board of governors, I do not want to be insulted with these “top contenders” any longer.
As I weighed my options over the wonderful holiday season, I could not seem to get one thing off my mind. I could not stop thinking about how the C*4 fan base continuously heckles and hollars at me to defend my championship against Vanessa Kraven again.
The idea of it ate away at me during the night. Her gigantic face haunted my dreams.
It makes me sick in my stomach to think that my victory over her last June was not enough for the vermin in the crowd.
I made an important decision on December 31, 2012 at 11:59PM. The decision is that at the upcoming “Rise Above” event, I will step in the ring with Vanessa Kraven one more time.
I will suspend my restraining order against Miss Kraven for one night only, although, rest assured that my legal council will be on hand to ensure that everything goes according to the law.
If Miss Kraven is victorious on that night, I will tear up that restraining order. Make no mistake about it, though. She will not be declared anything other than what she is – an absolute loser.

So there you have it… Apparently, Twiggy’s conquest will come to an end.

Next up, a first time ever encounter between one of C*4’s most hated competitors, and one making his long awaited debut.
Sebastian Suave, a man who has left behind his former “leader” in Stu Grayson, and stable mates, TdT, is looking to carve out a path for himself in C*4 alone.
Suave, who heads off to Japan for a tour of action later this month, wants to remind C*4 fans that he’s just as dangerous alone as he is as part of a faction.
His opponent, is a young man who was set to debut for C*4, back in January 2011, and now will finally debut on Jan. 19th – Chris Dickinson.
Dickinson returned to action several months ago, following a thought-to-be career ending injury. Since his return, he has turned many heads displaying his incredibly intense style in Beyond Wrestling and InterSpecies Wrestling.
C*4 is excited to welcome the “Death Machine”, Chris Dickinson to “Rise Above”.
