Sat, Dec 1, 2012 will go down in history in ECWA as Black Saturday II !
The night ended in total chaos as Apollyon, Rex Lawless, Matt Saigon and the returning MONSTER AHTU all joined Josh Dan iels and Breaker Morant in Blackheart, led by Joel Blackhart.
During the course of this fray, long time tag team partner in FUSION DS, Matt Saigon , turned on Damian Dragon. Even more surprising, former ECWA, Mid-Atlantic and Super 8 Champion “Greek God” Papadon refused to join Blackheart and was left laying.

2013 SUPER 8 NEWS
The 3rd competitor entered into the 17th Annual ECWA Super 8 Tournament (to be held on Sat, April 13, 2013 in Newark, Delaware) is none other than the currentreigning ECWA Unified Heavyweight Champion* “Heart Killer” Chris Wylde !!!
Overcoming childhood asthma and being a teenage fan of ECWA, Wylde realized his dream and debuted for the ECWA at the 2010 Super 8 in July 2010. In the opening round Wylde defeated Alex Reynolds, but fell to Tommaso Ciampa in the semi-final round.
Since that time Wylde has ONLY suffered two pinfall loses in singles competition to Kekoa the Flyin Hawaiian (Nov 2011) and “Greek God” Papadon (July 2011). That is ONLY 3 singles losses in 29 months!!!
Wylde has held the Mid-Atlantic Title (11 months), the TWA Title (5 months before title unification) and the ECWA Unified Heavyweight Title (currently in his 3rd month as champion).
Not only was Wylde the first Unified Champion, but he is also the first ECWA Champion to defend his championship a record 4 times in a 5 weeks period including a triple threat match and a 4-way tornado match.
And in addition to all these accomplishments, Wylde led the ECWA in war versus Blackheart and showed that he can brawl (Pins Count Anywhere Match and Wargames) as well as wrestle!

SHIMMER Tag Team Champion Portia Perez will embark on her second tour of Japan during the month of January, as she will participate in several events run by the STARDOM promotion.
Portia was announced today at a STARDOM press conference promoting their upcoming event at Korakuen Hall on January 14th. On that event, Portia will be the tag team partner of Tomoka Nakagawa & Kellie Skater in trios action against the PLANET team of Mayu Iwatani & Io Shirai & Natsumi Showzuki.
Perez previously toured Japan for the REINA promotion, along with usual tag team partner Nicole Matthews during 2011.

On the Women of Wrestling Podcast Christmas Special at http://www.ringbellesonline.com/ this past weekend, three more wrestlers were revealed to be participating in the upcoming SHIMMER 53 event during WrestleMania weekend in New Jersey.
Rising star Evie from New Zealand, who is the current PWWA Interim Champion, will make her SHIMMER debut at SHIMMER 53. Former SHIMMER Champion Madison Eagles will return to action after over a year on the sidelines due to injury. Plus the legendary Amazing Kong will also make her return to SHIMMER action as part of the event!
Previously announced for SHIMMER 53 were two matches which were signed immediately following SHIMMER 52. The main event will feature SHIMMER Champion Saraya Knight defending the title against Cheerleader Melissa inside a steel cage! Plus there will be a rematch from SHIMMER 52 pitting “The Wrestling Goddess” Athena vs. Ayako Hamada!
SHIMMER 53 will take place on Saturday, April 6th at the Meadowlands Exposition Center (355 Plaza Drive) in Secaucus, NJ. Bell time is Noon for this special afternoon event. We are now into the 3rd row of ringside seating. If you’ll be in the NY/NJ area during Mania weekend and would like to be ringside for the event, act quickly to secure your seats. This is shaping up to be one of the biggest events in SHIMMER history, and certainly our largest attendance thus far.

As announced to the National Pro Wrestling locker-room on Saturday night, December 1st in Dunellen, New Jersey, effective January 1, 2013, all contracts and buildings promoted by New Jersey-based National Pro Wrestling and all other companies promoted by Joe Panzarino, will be turned over to Funkdafied Wrestling Federation. The reasons behind this are many and people will draw their own conclusions, however, going forward, starting with the January 19 show in Stirling New Jersey, all shows will be promoted exclusively through FwF. We already have shows booked for January and February including

Joe, aka Dapper Johnny Falco, will no longer be involved in the company, either in the booking, promotion, building set ups, talent contact or any other of the day to day operations as this is in the capable hands of the FwF.
