Wes Brisco teams with Dory Funk Jr. to take on Shane Chung and Cory “Wild” Weston.
Dory Funk Jr. and Jack Brisco fought for the NWA World Championship from Texas to Florida, St. Louis, Mid Atlantic Wrestling, Japan and more. The Brisco Brothers and the Funk Brothers were the hottest brother feud in professional wrestling.
In a Second Main Event, Hollywood Heather, Star of Lover Boy II will defend her Women’s Championship Belt against University of Miami’s, Claudia “The Claw” Reiff.
Also on the card, The New Generation, Pete Kaasanova, The Mighty Vesuvius, Garrett “Living Your Life to the Fullest” Tukes, Brian “Hot Shot” Davis and Jeremy “Rock Star” Spillers Plus the “Italian Heart Throb” Johnny Romano.

After what many consider one of the best CWE events all time and one of the best main events to ever take place in a CWE ring Canadian Wrestling’s Elite is gearing up for another stacked event that only CWE can provide. Here’s what has already been announced for this huge night,
Former WWF & WCW World Champion “Psycho” Sid Vicious & “Murder City Saint” Nate Hardy vs. Size Matters (The Axe & Zack Mercury)
-In what is perhaps the biggest superstar to ever be announced to appear at a CWE event multiple time World champion “Psycho” Sid comes to Cowboy’s Roadhouse in Winnipeg in a highly anticipated tag team showdown. With The Axe and Zack Mercury using their size to their advantage to bully the Murder City Saints they injured Darian Karisma in what will see him miss action for a year. Nate Hardy looked to get revenge even if it was on his own and as a result was beaten by both men in a handicap match at Explicit Content. Shane Madison isn’t standing for the bullying anymore and has appointed Sid Vicious Nate’s tag partner to balance out the size disadvantage for a huge tag contest.
CWE Tag Team Championship Match- Tables, Ladders, and Chairs
CWE Tag Team Champions Team Impact (Robby Royce & Anderson Tyson Moore) vs. The Big Sexy Beasts (AJ Sanchez & Kevy Chevy)
– The heated rivalry between the two top tag teams in Canada comes to a head when the rule book is thrown out the window and the heavy duty hardware becomes available to settle the war. With Team Impact using every loop hole and out possible over the past year to retain the tag team titles in regular tag team action the decision was made that the Big Sexy Beasts would get the opportunity to break the rules right back and have toys at their disposal. With Team Impact using referee Kat Von Heez to their advantage as of late that won’t matter now as pin falls are no longer relevant as the tag team titles will be hanging high above the ring with the only way to obtain them in climbing a ladder.
CWE Championship Match- The FInal Encounter
CWE Champion “Hotshot” Danny Duggan vs. Mentallo
– At the historic 3 year anniversary show history was made when Danny Duggan became the first man in the companies three year history to defeat Mentallo in the middle of the ring to capture the CWE Championship. With Mentallo never losing before he has made it very clear that Duggan’s win was a fluke and will never happen again. With Mentallo and Moses Luke winning their tag match at Explicit Content Mentallo has earned a championship rematch which he will receive April 19th. The two competed in a 20 minute classic on January 27th in a match still talked about today. Both claimed to be the best they ever were going into the match and will now have to step that up even further with Mentallo having a point to prove coming off a 14 month title reign. Duggan/Mentallo 3 goes down at Psychotic Justice!
123Approved.ca Open Rules Title Match- Match Stipulation To Be Determined
123Approved.ca Open Rules Champion “The Brickhouse” Paul Arcidi vs. “The German Juggernaut” Moses Luke
– Paul Arcidi burst back onto the CWE scene with a shocking 8 second victory against Moses Luke to capture the Open Rules championship at the 3 Year Anniversary show. With Moses feeling unprepared for a surprise opponent the caliber of Arcidi and demanded a rematch. After earning one in a tag team victory at Explicit Content Luke has now got his rematch to recapture the title. We eagerly await to find out what type of match The German Juggernaut will select in hopes of regaining the title!
“The First Nation Sensation” Wavell Starr returns to CWE!
– One of the most accomplished Canadian independent veterans returns to Winnipeg and CWE on April 19th! With success in Stampede and Ohio Valley Wrestling and with countless WWE television appearances “The First Nation Sensation” is back and looking to climb to the top of the CWE title picture!
