Ring of Honor Taping Results 3/3/2012 Baltimore, MD by Jason Namako
Episode 1 (3/17)
1. Adam Cole defeated Chris Silvio by pinfall with the Strait Jacket German.
After the match, Kyle O’Reilly came out and challenged Cole to a match on the Saturday, March 31st Florida IPPV.
2. Kevin Steen cut a promo with a tennis racket that had a picture of Davey Richards on it. Jim Cornette comes out and announces that on the Saturday, March 31st IPPV, it will be Steen vs. Eddie Edwards. But, on the Friday March 30th IPPV, one more time, it will be Steen vs. the returning El Generico.
3. Jay Lethal defeated Roderick Strong by pinfall in a “March Mayhem” qualifier after botched interference by the House of Truth.
Episode 2 (3/24)
Jim Cornette comes out and interviews Roderick Strong, Eddie Edwards & Davey Richards about their 3-way World Title match at the Friday, March 30th IPPV. Jay Lethal then comes out and says he deserves Strong’s spot after beating him last week and its about time he gets what he deserves. Kevin Steen then comes out and says he will find a way to get a title shot no matter what.
1. Caprice Coleman & Cedric Alexander defeated Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team by pinfall when the Briscoes came out and hit Haas with a steel chair.
After the match, referees checked on Haas while Shelton said that come March 31st, it will be “genocide” for anyone named Briscoe.
2. Adam Cole defeated “Unbreakable” Michael Elgin w/Truth Martini in a “March Mayhem” qualifier after botched interference by Roderick Strong.
Episode 3 (3/31)
1. “The Dominant Male” Tommaso Ciampa w/The Embassy Limited defeated Kyle O’Reilly in a “March Mayhem” qualifier via ref stoppage after hitting numerous running knees to the head.
2. Ring of Honor World Champion Davey Richards defeated Ryan McBride in a Proving Ground match by submission with the Ankle Lock.
Kevin Steen comes out and cuts another promo, tennis racket in tow and now has a remixed version of his theme, with Richards’s wolf howl at the beginning. Steen says that ROH can do whatever they can to keep him from wrestling on TV, what it won’t matter once he wins the ROH World Title. This brings out Davey Richards & Jim Cornette and Richards says he’ll shove the piledriver up Steen’s ass. Davey slaps Steen, who just smiles and walks away. Davey and Cornette argue to end the segment.
3. “The Prodigy” Mike Bennett w/”Brutal” Bob Evans & Maria defeated “Die Hard” Eddie Edwards by pinfall in a “March Mayhem” qualifier after interference by Maria.
Episode 4 (4/7)
1. The Young Bucks defeated TJ Perkins & Shiloh Jonze by pinfall with More Bang for your Buck.
2. Mike Mondo defeated Matt Taven by pinfall after catching him in mid-air with a Flatliner.
3. “March Mayhem” Finals, with $24,000 to the winner: “The Dominant Male” Tommaso Ciampa defeated Adam Cole, Jay Lethal & “The Prodigy” Mike Bennett to win the $24,000 check. It was elimination style rules with Lethal eliminating Bennett first with the Lethal Injection. Then, Ciampa quickly defeated Lethal with a knee to the head. Finally, Ciampa defeated Cole with Project Ciampa to win “March Mayhem”.
6-Man Tag Dark Match: The Briscoes(Jay, Mark & Papa Briscoe) defeated The House of Truth(Roderick Strong, Michael Elgin & Truth Martini) by pinfall when Papa Briscoe pinned Martini with a Stunner.
