The ?NEW HORROR? Sami Callihan’s open challenge has been accepted:
Back in October, PRIDE WRESTLING received a video from the ?New Horror? Sami Callihan in which he laid out an open challenge to the wrestling world. Sami had no problem fighting anyone from anywhere in the world. They could be American, Canadian, Mexican, Puerto Rican, European, or Japanese. It didn?t matter to Sami Callihan who answered his open challenge. But it became a question among those involved with PRIDE WRESTLING as to who would answer the challenge from this highly skilled yet very dangerous individual. Well the challenge has been accepted and the match has been finalized. The competitor who has agreed to step into the ring and take on Sami has been involved in very physical matches throughout his career. He has really made his impact with HYBRID Wrestling which is based out of Ohio. So on January 8, 2010 the main event of the debut show in The Sports Place in Blauvelt, New York will be; Dave Logan versus The New Horror Sami Callihan.

CRUISERWEIGHT COMBAT: SABIAN VS BANDIDO JR
PRIDE WRESTLING presents a match that could give any air traffic controller headaches. These two cruiserweights have thrilled crowds everywhere they have wrestled. But their paths have rarely crossed. But on January 8th everyone should be ready to witness a rare one on one encounter between the high flying Puerto Rican wonder Bandido Jr. and the man that has been known to some as “Blk Jesus” Sabian. As they look to showcase their talents in the PRIDE WRESTLING ring.
STRONG STYLE SHOWDOWN: CHRIS DICKINSON VS BRUNO MARCIANO
This match will showcase two young men who are looking to become the next big thing in the wrestling scene. These two athletes will bring the competitive and hard hitting action that a strong style match can deliver. As Chris Dickinson takes on the hard hitting Italian Bruno Marciano in a Strong Style Showdown.
TAG TEAM MATCH: “THE GARDEN STATE GODS” CORVIS FEAR & MYKE QUEST VS ADAM COLE & “HD” TYLER VERITAS
Corvis Fear and Myke Quest collectively known as the Garden State Gods have been tearing up the indy scene. Their mission is to make the wrestling world “ONE NATION UNDER GODS!” And they will look to start expanding their nation in PRIDE WRESTLING on Jan. 8, 2010 in Blauvelt, NY. But standing in their way are two young men who are looking to prevent the Nation under Gods expansion. As ?HD? Tyler Veritas and Adam Cole will take on the Garden State Gods.
TRIPLE THREAT MATCH: ERIC ALVERADO VS “CHIKARAS OWN” FRIGHTMARE VS JEFFERSON SAINT
Since PRIDE WRESTLING has announced its debut, countless wrestlers have asked to be a part of this wrestling organization. Three wrestlers really stood out and PRIDE WRESTLING officials want to see what they have in a triple threat match. Frightmare is very new to the wrestling game but like most of Chikara’s students has made an impact in the short time in the ring. He looks to bring his aerial style to PRIDE WRESTLING. Jefferson Saint may not be known to east coast fans but in Ohio/Midwest he is a known name. And is featured in the Beyond Wrestling which was recently featured on 411mania.com, he is looking to make his stamp on the east coast in PRIDE WRESTLING. Finally there is Eric Alverado who has been around the Northeast indy scene and is looking to make a bigger impact. He is looking to make that impact in PRIDE. So fans will be treated to a triple threat match between Eric Alverado, Frightmare, and Jefferson Saint.

This match right here is keeping up with the theme of rarely seen or first time anywhere matches in the independent wrestling scene. As Mike Donovan who is a regular in the ACE promotion and other NJ organizations looks to make a bigger name for himself. His opponent is one of the newest members of the beloved The Colony from Chikara Pro and was the combatant who scored the decisive pin fall in the “Cibernetico Increible” as Carpenter Ant takes on Mike Donovan in this first time ever one on one match up.
