CHIKARA: Eddie Kingston Injured! El Generico vs. Jigsaw will be FREE on Nov 13!
Over this past weekend Eddie Kingston, suffered a debilitating leg injury, that leaves his health in question. After losing to Gerard’s STF in Williamsport, he was then struck in the kneecap with a steel chair. Kingston could barely walk to the back, and was unable to leave the venue without assistance. Kingston, who won Block B of the giant “12 Large: Summit” round robin tournament was scheduled to compete for the Grand Championship of CHIKARA at our “High Noon” iPPV event of November 13, but his status is now uncertain.
With the main event of our most important event in company history on hold, we will wait for Kingston’s physician to evaluate him Wednesday morning and assess the damage that has been done to his ailing knee.
On a brighter note, the just-signed singles encounter between El Generico and Jigsaw will take place before our iPay-Per-View goes live on November 13th. A special 45-minute Pre-Show-A-Go-Go will stream out FOR FREE on our UStream channel prior to “High Noon” being sent out via Go Fight Live. The Pre-Show will feature live interviews, a number to call in and chat with the stars of the show, and a whole lot more – all hosted by Dr. Keith Lipiniski, DDS. New Champions – Powerhouse Theo has upended Concrete Davidson’s Commonwealth Championship reign on 8 October after just one title defence in major league controversy as Iron Ben Coles threw in the towel for Concrete, leading to his defeat. Davidson’s neck was however injured as a result of Theo’s Full Nelson Clutch and he will miss upcoming AWF shows until December. Theo is the first 2 Time Commonwealth Champion, and with his conflict with AWF Australasian Champion at an all time high, he is demanding a unification match with Coles. This match is currently in negotiations for 22 January in Penrith Panthers if both men can remain Champions until year end. This could be the biggest and most important bout in AWF history. Stay tuned!!!!!
Spaceboy Dacey also released his first wrestling goal of becoming AWF Young Lion’s Champion on 8 October by besting Jay Law, albeit with one boot, and some mind magic from The Illusionist!

Tony Kebab Is Senior Referee – After concussing and defeating CB Cochran at Parramatta RSL on 8 October, “Mad Ref” Tony Kebab is now in charge of CB Cochran and OJ Fitzpatrick in the role of senior referee, and has immediately put both on probation as his first act of power. It will be interesting to see if CB and OJ can restore fairness to the officiating ranks in the coming months, or will Kebab’s seemingly power driven blindness cost more wrestlers victories in the future? Keep watching!

New Wrestlers – AWF welcomes new wrestlers from the AWF School of pro-wrestling to our ranks.
– “Dodgy” Con Robinson formerly from Parklea Correctional Facility made his debut against fellow newcomer from India Muhammad Bombay at the AWF Dojo on 15 October. Con managed to steal the victory in an hard fought battle, and an outraged Bombay told AWF officials after the bout he was robbed and will be heading to India for legal council and will return in 2012 for revenge on Con and AWF.
– A vibrant and energetic newcomer to the women’s ranks also recently debuted under the alias of “Bridget Dee” at SuperSlam, upsetting Selene in an exciting women’s bout. Not much is known about this newcomers personal life, however she has made an initial impact and it will be interesting to see how she shows herself next in AWF. Be at upcoming events to find out!
– Cutting edge wrestler Mikey Lord will be making his AWF debut on upcoming November events. Lord has wrestled extensively around Australia for a few years now, and has even appeared in Japan, and says he is intending to make his mark in AWF. AWF looks forward to seeing Mikey on upcoming events wowing fans with his exciting abilities.
Congratulations! – Well done to Frankie Fettucini on his recent marriage, and to AWF School of Pro-Wrestling student Chris Abbott on his upcoming tying of the knot. Congrats also goes to the lucky fan in Vincentia who won a HDTV at our live event SuperSlam, and also to Joshya Gatt & Dyland Rylands for making a great student showdown bout at the event also!
