– Officially signed for this Saturday in Chicago Ridge, IL at the TV tapings is Tommaso Ciampa with The Embassy taking on Andy “Right Leg” Ridge in singles action. – Ring of Honor management is happy to announce that they have come to terms with Jay Lethal and he is now officially under ROH contract. The former ROH Pure Champion was a part of Ring of Honor from 2003 – 2006 and in that time frame captured the ROH Pure Title, contended for the ROH Tag Titles, and battled everyone from CM Punk to Samoa Joe to Christopher Daniels. Returning to the fold at “Best in the World 2011”, Lethal defeated “The Prodigy” Mike Bennett and is now scheduled to challenge for the ROH World TV Title against champion El Generico THIS Saturday night in Chicago Ridge, IL!
– Steve Corino recently wrote a letter to ROH fans, talent, and staff (http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/a-plea-from-steve-corino/) that ROH officials have made public. In addition, as a direct result of that letter (http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/jacobs-corino-get-their-wish/), ROH officials have decided to allow both Corino & Jimmy Jacobs at the event in Chicago Ridge and Jacobs will compete against “The Prodigy” Mike Bennett. This marks Jimmy’s first match in ROH since 2009 when he lost to Tyler Black inside a Steel Cage.
