(WEST PATERSON, NJ)- Independent Wrestling Federation is pleased to announce WWE Legends Young Stallion Jim Powers and WWE Hall of Famer Tito Santana host Pro Wrestling Clinics this Winter at IWF Wrestling School, 32 Willow Way, West Paterson, NJ.
Jim Powers conducts a one-day Clinic on Saturday, January 23 from 2:30 to 6:00 pm. Tito Santana conducts a one-day Clinic on Saturday, February 20 from 2:30 to 6:00 pm.
Clinic includes in-ring instruction, fundamentals, interviews, question and answer session, and more. The Clinics are a must for all wrestlers and students to have an opportunity to gain knowledge from pro wrestling legends. Powers and Santana will evaluate all participants from the Clinic and Live Events, and recommendations will be made to WWE Developmental Trainer Dr. Tom Prichard.
Powers will also wrestle at IWF Winter Warfare Weekend live events on Friday, January 22 at 8:00 pm, and Saturday, January 23 at 7:30 pm. Santana wrestles at IWF February Fury Weekend live events on Friday, February 19 at 8:00 pm, and Saturday, February 20 at 7:30 pm. Each Clinic open to IWF students and active graduates of all experience levels for a $25 fee. Each Clinic also open to select indy wrestlers, managers and referees (ages 18+) with at least one-year of experience for a $50 fee. Pre-registration required, and there is a combo discount for those that participate in both sessions. Clinics not open to fans, the public, or guests. Following Powers and Santana, WWE Developmental Trainer Dr. Tom Prichard returns for his 9th Annual Pro Wrestling Clinic and WWE Tryout. Prichard, head trainer at WWE’s Florida Championship Wrestling Developmental Program, hosts the three-day clinic Friday, April 23 from 6-10 pm; Saturday, April 24 from 12-6 pm; and Sunday, April 25 from 12-6 pm. Clinic includes seminar, in-ring drills, basics and fundamentals, interviews, referee and manager skills.
Established in 1999, IWF Wrestling School trains hundreds of wrestlers and managers from 20 states and nine countries that perform in bouts around the globe. IWF graduates make frequent appearances on Raw and SmackDown. So far, 21 home-grown IWF talents made WWE appearances.
IWF Wrestling School hosts periodic Clinics with current stars and legendary performers. In addition to Powers and Santana, WWE’s John Bradshaw Layfield, Intercontinental Champion Honky Tonk Man, WWE trainer Dr. Tom Prichard, Hall of Famer Ricky Steamboat, UFC Champion Ken Shamrock, Stevie Richards, Nunzio, WWE Diva Dawn Marie, and WWE star Tom Brandi (Sal Sincere) hosted clinics.
