I am pleased to announce the incredible main event that will headline this landmark show. Two guys that know each other very well and who’s history dates back to the old Neo Spirit Pro days. These two guys are two of the greatest wrestling stars that Ontario have ever produced and they will sqare off on January 9th.
Shawn Spears will still be competing in the main event. As well as the ever popular “Dangerboy” Derek Wylde. After much prodding and pleading by all three parties involved, demanding that the best be involved in this show, the following change had to be made!

Talk about a hard hitting match, how about this. These two are battling it out for a few awards this year including the technical and Wrestler of the Year categories. Not only that but both these men have dominated the Match of the Year categories for 2009 with a total of 5 Match of the Year nominations between them. On January 9th these two will battle it out in what promises to be a hard hitting and technical contest.

Last year’s winner of Most Improved Wrestler of the Year has not slowed down since winning the prestigious award in 2008. With nominations in 2009 for Most Improved, Gimmick, Most Hated and Next Breakthrough Star, will he continue his song and dance or will he be shut up by one of Oshawa’s immensely popular superstars. Plus, two WILD stars representing the women going for female wrestler of the year.
PJ Tyler & Hayden Avery vs Hayley Rogers & “The Midnight Special” RJ City
and just because this card isn’t stacked enough. How about two more guys that have traveled together, won tag team gold together and have beat each other up on many occasion. One more time these two athletes will go nose to nose.

Four competitors that know each other extremely well and have promised me to tear the roof off of the legion on January 9th. None of these guys are strangers to each other and promise to deliver the fans a match they won’t soon forget.

The rookie monster Boris Brezhnev is furious that he wasn’t nominated for Newcomer of the Year for 2009 and he is planning on making an example out of Newcomer of the Year nominee Anthony Fiasco and show Ontario why he feels he is the most dominant rookie to ever show up in Ontario. In a rookie showdown:

16-Man Battle Royal
In addition to the 6 incredible matches on this special night. Oshawa will witness a Sweet 16-Man Battle Royal with the winner receiving a title shot for the Ontario Independent Championship.
