Pro Wrestling Syndicate makes its Connecticut debut on Sunday August 22 at the air conditioned Fairfield Knights Of Columbus Hall located on 333 Unquowa Road in Fairfield, CT. The building is right of exit 21 on I-95, just 30 minutes away from NY, and just one block from the Metro North Train Station which provides quick and easy public transportation from CT and NY.
The action kicks off at 2pm, and in the house will be Special Guest PWS Commissioner, the legendary and controversial Scott Hall! How will Scott Hall handle his PWS Commissioner duties? Be there live to find out in person.
Recently crowned PWS Heavyweight Champion Kevin Matthews of Reality Check will be defending his title against former WWE Intercontinental Champion The Road Dogg. This will be Road Dogg’s first Connecticut appearance in quite some time, and like Matthews has some of the best microphone skills and hardest punches in the business. Road Dogg is one of the most decorated stars in WWE history and is gunning to add The PWS Title to his resume, however Kevin Matthews is hot off a big win over the legendary human wrecking ball “Butterbean” Eric Esch…will the hot streak continue or will the veteran Road Dogg get the better of the cocky Matthews?!
In a First Time Ever Indy Dream Match, finally fans will get to see The Necro Butcher go one on one against former PWS Champion Devon Moore of Reality Check. This match will determine the number contender for the PWS Heavyweight Title and will be contested under Tables, Ladders, and Chairs rules! We’ve seen Necro beat the holy hell out of guys like The Sandman, Sabu, and Low Ki on past PWS events, however now that Necro is no longer PWS Commissioner, he has vowed to take his intense level of sheer violence up a notch, and with the #1 Contendership on the line, Necro has vowed to stop at nothing to claim victory. Keep in mind that Reality Check leader Devon Moore held the PWS Title for 18 months and claimed victories over many top PWS stars including Kenny Omega, Jack Evans, Sonjay Dutt, B-Boy, and The Grim Reefer. Like Necro, Moore has also collided with hardcore greats and was victorious over stars such as Sabu and “The Chair Swinging Freak” Balls Mahoney. This will be Moore’s first PWS match since losing the Title at PWS’ Brawl For Paul where it took three men to eliminate Moore from the Four Way Elimination Title Match.
Fans can see what Moore has to say about this upcoming battle here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zd1uUO_Rwms
Also in First Time Ever Indy Dream Match action will be “The Assassin” Dan Maff taking on “The New Horror” Sami Callihan in what promises to be a strong styled spectacular. Both of these young lions have been top stars all over the East Coast, and are both hungry to establish themselves in PWS.
You can see what Maff has to say about this match here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R6VMXfIGy20
Since PWS is making its New England debut, its only fitting that “New England’s Top Star” Kenny Doane will be in action as he squares off against the 420 pound “Samoan Mastadon” Fala! Fans not familar with the popular Fala can check out a PWS highlight video of him here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rqEExE2qvkA
New high flying PWS tag team The Amazing Red & Bandido Jr, hot off a win over TNA’s Generation Me at the last PWS event will take on one of the top tag teams on the independents scene, the returning The Best Around; TJ Cannon and Bruce Maxwell. This match features four of the top high flying stars on the North East and is sure to be a classic encounter.

Plus The PWS Tri-State Title will be crowned in a Stretcher Matcher between the returning Deadpool managed by the gorgeous Annie Social and Reality Check’s Danny Demanto whom will be accompanied by Connecticut’s own Velvet Sky! The PWS Tri State Title was to be crowned at PWS’ last event Vendetta in a SEVEN MAN Elimination match which featured Sonjay Dutt, Shawn Daivari, Grim Reefer, Fala, Kenny Doane, The Dynamic Sensation, and Danny Demanto. However, as a result of Demanto crushing The Dynamic Sensation through a table off a 25 foot high balcony dive when they were the last two men left in the match, guest PWS Commissioner “The Pope” D’Angelo Dinero stopped the match as EMT’s took to the injured Dynamic Sensation whom suffered a concussion and was knocked out cold. With TDS on the disabled list, Demanto will have to face the returning undefeated masked man Deadpool with the Tri State Title hanging in the balance.

AAW’s Reign of Violence is in the books and it was another wild night at the famous Berwyn Eagles Club. A hot crowd witnessed the below results.
-Chris”Madness” Hall d. Kyle Haven with an inverted powerslam
Crowd was behind the big man Chris Hall here as he picks up his first win on the main show.
*Val Malone was out to interview Ryan Boz. Boz stated that his bicep injury had not healed as he had hoped and after having a long talk with Jim Lynam about his place in the title picture he had decided to hang up his boots for good. Silas Young then came out and ran down Boz saying he was never even close to being in title contention and slapped Boz across the face. Boz attacked Silas who slid under the ring and when Boz followed he came up a bloody mess as Silas attacked him with a hammer. Boz needed to be helped from ringside.
*Promo in the back from senior official PJ Drummond who declared that AAW wants clear cut winners and referees discretion is still in play but violence against officials will not be tolerated.
-Dan Lawrence d. “Sweet and Sour” Larry Sweeney with a victory roll
The crowd was shocked when Sweeney came to ringside and laid out an open challenge. (The Texarkana TV Title was not on the line). DL answered the challenge and got the win after Sweeney wrestled the better part of the match bare assed. (Seriously)
*Promo from Christian Able. He said Truth Martini was speaking at a convention and Josh Raymond had travel problems therefore he would representing the House of Truth tonight and was in a four way where the winner would get to pick the title shot of their choosing.
-Louis Lyndon d. Trik Davis with a backslide
-Christian Able d. CJ Esparza, Brett Gakiya and Flip Kendrick to earn a title shot of his choosing
Zero Gravity tried to work together as much as possible in this match to earn a tag team title shot but they actually ended up having to square off against each other at one point. All four men hit some impressive maneuvers but in the end it was Able who pinned Kendrick for the all important win in this one.
*Promo was shown for Dragon Gate USA 9/25 in Chicago and 9/26 in Milwaukee. www.DGUSA.TV
-Mason Beck w/ Val Malone d. Juice Robinson with a powerbomb
Beck and Malone are now big fan favorites after leaving the House of Truth. Juice had an arrogant attitude in his AAW return and fell victim to Becks big powerbomb.
*Joey Eastman returned to AAW and was showered with cheers from the Berwyn fans. He said his unfinished business is the AAW Tag Team Titles he believes belongs to him and he has been in contact with several teams to try and get those titles back as he has now signed on to return to AAW full time. This brought out Christian Able of the House of Truth who claimed the tag titles were H.OT business and brutally attacked Eastman. Joey needed to be helped from the ring as he was a bloody mess.
*Promo from Tyler Black. He said AAW and its fans will always hold a special place for him and he was going to do everyone a favor by taking the title from Silas Young tonight.
-Krotch/MsChif/Samuray Del Sol d. Chandler McClure/Jordan Mcentyre/Knight Wagner w/ Ms Eryn
Competitive six person tag that saw Knight Wagner continually taunt Derek St. Holmes at the announce position. DSH would have the last laugh as he came to ringside and stopped Ms Eryn’s interference, clocking Wagner and allowing MsChif to hit the green mist and Wagner and allowing Krotch to get the pin.
*Crowd erupted as a promo hit the big screen for “The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson’s return to AAW on Friday 9/24.
-Silas Young and Tyler Black wrestled to a no contest when both men’s shoulders were counted down after a superplex. Young retains the AAW Heavyweight Title.
A classic match here as both men left it all in the ring. Numerous near falls and high impact moves as the fans chanted “This is awesome” and “This is wrestling”. Controversial finish as PJ Drummond counted both men’s shoulders to the mat simultaneously. Black got the mic and demanded a restart only to jumped by Christian Able. Able said he was cashing in his title shot next month for the “House of Truth”. Black turned the tables and hit a bucklebomb and superkick on Able. Black got the mic and said next month it was on. His last show in AAW and it will be “The Age of the Fall” against “The House of Truth” for the AAW Tag Team Titles.
Thanks to all the fans who came out tonight.
