Cary Silkin and the Monday Night Mayhem crew welcomed Dan Bishop to the event. Bishop, a University of Buffalo wrestler, broke his neck several months ago on a match, but has persevered and defied the odds, walking across the stage last month to receive his diploma. He received a standing ovation from the crowd, with chants of “You are awesome.”
The Ring of Honor World Tag Team Champions, The Kings of Wrestling def. Cheech and Cloudy via a modified powerbomb, a non-title match.
After intermission, the legendary Dick “The Destroyer” Beyer, along with the owner of Ilio Dipaolo’s Restaurant, Dennis DiPaolo, were introduced to the crowd, as both thanked the crowd for their immense support in the return of ROH to Buffalo. ROH World Champion Tyler Black came out with them, thanked Ilio’s for their support, along with “The Destroyer” for his legendary career.
Colt Cabana beat Shawn Divairi by submission.
Kenny Omega def. Austin Aries via the Omega Effect. Prior to the match starting, Aries came out in full Bryan Danielson mode, complete with Europe’s “The Final Countdown” theme, mastering his entrance in the process.
At the end of the match, Kenny King and Rhett Titus attacked Omega after the match, which led to The Briscoes coming down to the ring, transitioning to the next match.

Steve Corino came out prior to the main event, ripping on the fans of buffalo in huge fashion. The ROH World Champion Tyler Black came out, and prior to their match, Corino took Tyler to task as well, demanding that Black give him the title before their match and before tomorrow night’s Death Before Dishonor VIII iPPV. After the pre-match taunts and jawjacking, Black def. Corino with his finisher, the God’s Greatest Gift. Adam Pearce came out to tend to a hurt Corino. Referee Todd Sinclair ended the night with stunners to both Corino and Pearce.
