Scheduled Matches:
VPW Championship
“Cuban Crippler” Ricky Reyes vs. Mack Daddy Flexx (c)
This is the match that the fans have been waiting for since Ricky Reyes attacked his long time friend Mack Daddy Flexx back in November. Postponed several times due to scheduling conflicts, both the champion and challenger are set to be in Centereach this Saturday night. We’ve seen brutal attacks, both verbally and physically, but now we will finally see the score settled in the ring for the VPW Championship! This match doesn’t need any hype so don’t dare miss it!!
VPW New York State Championship
E.J. Risk vs. VSK (c)
VSK has been taking on everyone since defeating Sabotage last September. One person who has been requesting a shot at the gold is E.J. Risk. Despite some key losses in recent months, VPW officials have granted his request. Outside of an unannounced special Halloween encounter, Risk and VSK have never met one on one. In 2010, E.J. Risk has gotten in the face of VPW Champion Mack Daddy Flexx and came very close to victory twice. Now he has his sites set on the New York State Championship and VSK. Risk has been seen gloating that not only is he better looking, but he is also a better natural athlete than VSK. When approached for a reaction to Risk’s comment, VSK said the following, “The thing that E.J. Risk knows how to do best is run his mouth.” One thing is for certain, the fans will be treated to a match of the highest caliber when two of the fastest rising stars in VPW go at it!!
VPW Tag Team Championship
“The Resurrection of Tag Team Wrestling” Eclipse (Jay Delta & Xandar Page) vs. ???
The three-time VPW Tag Team Champions will be defending their titles this Saturday night, but the championship committee has not decided who is set to receive the title shot. Both members of Eclipse have stated that they don’t care who it is because they will win anyway. While it is great to have a confident attitude, that’s also what can get people in trouble. Eclipse could very well be facing opponents that they have never competed against before and they need to be ready for anything.
Special Tag Team Challenge
Los Ben Dejos vs. Funky Fresh Boyz (K-Funk & K-Fresh) w/ Ms. Terri
The Funky Fresh Boyz had a long run at the top of the VPW tag team division, but recently came up short against long time rivals, Eclipse. Having lost their rematch, they now need to work their way back up the ranks. That starts this Saturday night when the FFB take on newcomers, Los Ben Dejos. Not much is known about their opponents, but VPW officials have been assured that they will be a perfect match for the ever-popular FFB.
Women’s Wrestling Action
Sweet Pea w/ Jason Static vs. Sumie Sakai
Seasoned competitor will take on Jason Static’s valet, Sweet Pea. Sweet Pea has been involved in many VPW matches as of late, but has yet to actually wrestle. This will also be Sumie Sakai’s first appearance in VPW, so there are quite a few firsts happening here. Sakai knows here way around the ring, but she must be ready for Sweet Pea’s dirty tactics.
Plus:
Jason Static
Romeo Roselli
Minyon
Razzle Dazzle
Flames
The Main Men
Mike Gallagher
Pete Simmons
Nick Saint
Kelly O’Shelley
AND MORE!!

Power Trip Wrestling announce fundraising show, “For Emily”, Saturday 22nd May 2010, Luton, Beds.
In the news that everyone at Power Trip Wrestling has wanted to hear announced, on Saturday 22nd May 2010, at Challney School For Girls, in Luton, Bedfordshire – it WILL happen, and the show will go ahead.
Whilst professional wrestling is supposed to be a tough business, Power Trip Wrestling are well known for having a kind heart. Back in October 2008, we raised £350 towards the healthcare of Emily Gaye, a young girl with cerebral palsy, via a collection. But his time, we’re dedicating the whole show to this special little lady, giving her father Neil the entire proceeds; and we’re going to give you, the fan, the best show that Luton has seen in many years.
Are you fed up with poor imitations of PTW in the local area who promote shows with the same people, the same matches, and unsuitable content for family viewing? Well, there’s none of that from us, because we’re going to show you why Power Trip Wrestling truly justify both of our catchphrases; of being both ‘The Best Family Night Out In Town, and also ‘The Promotion The Competition Doesn’t Want You To See’!
We’re bringing the big boys to town, with International Star Jonny ‘Wonderkid’ Storm making his very long awaited PTW return, PTW World Champion Conor Hurley putting his career on the line, the PTW World Tag Team Titles and the PTW Cruiserweight Title are going to be on the line, and in a real shocker of a twist of events – PTW’s always controversial and Luton’s very own ‘The Loudest Player In The Game’ Petey Staniforth has made an open challenge to anyone, from anywhere, to fight him!
