CHIKARA: Glacier returns! Al Snow debuts! It must be King of Trios 2009!
A cold front is blowing into South Philly on March 27th – when Glacier returns to CHIKARA just in time for our giant King of Trios tournament! The star of WCW made waves at last year’s King of Trios tournament teaming with Los Ice Creams – but this year, he’s got a few new frosty friends to help him out! Joining Glacier for tournament action will be NWA Anarchy standout Iceberg, as well as former WWE and ECW superstar Al Snow!
Starting on Friday, March 27th, CHIKARA will host the largest pro-wrestling tournament of the year – King of Trios – at the (ECW) Arena! 48 wrestlers from around the world will converge on South Philadelphia for this annual tradition, and it promises to be the wrestling smorgasbord you simply can’t do without! Teams have been announced over the last month, with new ones joining the field as each coveted spot is gobbled up!
As of today, these 10 teams are confirmed for the tournament:
