IMPACT Wrestling has announced they have signed independent wrestling star Masha Slamovich. Slamovich made her return to IMPACT at Saturday’s Knockouts Knockdown event, coming up short in capturing the Knockouts Championship from Deonna Purrazzo.
IMPACT released exclusive Knockouts Knockdown post-show footage of IMPACT Hall of Famer and Producer Gail Kim offering Slamovich a contract to join the Knockout Division.
Slamovich made her original IMPACT debut back in June 2019, losing to Havok. She then lost in a match against Jordynne Grace. Since she has since worked for Beyond Wrestling, CZW, GCW, and other promotions. In addition, she appeared at the all-women’s EmPowerrr pay-per-view this past August. She also appeared in AEW losing to Penelope Ford on the August 17 episode Dark. She also made an appearance on the September 20 episode of Elevation, losing to Hikaru Shida.
The 23-year old Slamovich has been billed as the “Russian Dynamite” from Moscow. She began her wrestling career five years ago in Japan. She was trained by several wrestlers, including WWE Hall of Famer Johnny Rodz and former IMPACT star The Amazing Red.
