As first reported by Fightful Select, and then confirmed by PWInsider, Don Callis officially exited IMPACT Wrestling as an Executive Vice President last month.
It has been said that Callis had slowly been decreasing his responsibilities outside of IMPACT’s creative team for some time, dating back last year, with no current plans to replace him. As of right now the creative team is Scott D’Amore, Tommy Dreamer, RD Evans and Jimmy Jacobs.
Callis current remains with IMPACT as an on-air talent for the company as Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers’ manager.
According to the same report from PWInsider, both sides are on good terms and Callis’ exit was not dramatic. The expectation is that Callis will eventually end up full-time with AEW, but that there is timeline as when that may be.
We will provide more details as they become available.
