IMPACT Wrestling announced on Thursday that the Super X-Cup tournament is returning at the Genesis event on Saturday, January 9, 2021 from Skyway Studios in Nashville, TN and streaming live on IMPACT Plus.
The Super X-Cup Tournament will see the IMPACT stars of the X-Division do battle to win the Super X-Cup trophy.
The first-ever Super X-Cup Tournament was in 2003, which Chris Sabin won. At the 2005 Super X-Cup Tournament Samoa Joe won. The Super X-Cup was brought back in 2017, which Dezmond Xavier won.
IMPACT noted in their announcement on Twitter to stay tuned for more details and news about participants.
The only match announced at this time for Genesis is Willie Mack vs. TNA World Heavyweight Champion Moose is in an “I Quit” match.
