Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to film video for Ken Shamrock’s IMPACT Hall of Fame induction

The Rock sends video to Ken Shamrock

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be playing a part in Ken Shamrock’s induction into the IMPACT Wrestling Hall of Fame.

Shamrock issued a tweet to The Rock earlier today to ask him if he would send an induction greeting. Within the hour, Johnson responded to congratulate Shamrock and stated he will have a video sent to him by this weekend.

IMPACT Wrestling announced this past March that Shamrock would be inducted into their Hall of Fame during Bound For Glory weekend. Shamrock was part of the first NWA-TNA PPV, winning the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship on that show. Shamrock returned to IMPACT in 2019.

Shamrock and The Rock had a high profile feud throughout 1998. They had a match at WrestleMania 14. Shamrock also defeated The Rock in the finals of the 1998 King of the Ring Tournament.

Bound For Glory is set to take place on October 24.
