Rich Swann has suffered an ankle injury that is threatening to keep him from competing on tonight’s IMPACT Wrestling Hard To Kill event.
Swann suffered the injury on Friday at Bash at the Brewery 2. Swann was teaming with Brian Cage, Willie Mack, and Tessa Blanchard in a loss to oVe. Swann had to be helped to the back during the match after injuring his right ankle.
IMPACT Wrestling has confirmed the injury on their Twitter. PWInsider is reporting that Swann is not expected to be cleared for the event. It is being rumored that Willie Mack will take on The North in a handicap match, but that has not been confirmed. There has been no official announcement as to the status of the match.
We will follow this story as more becomes available. Wrestleview will have live coverage of IMPACT Wrestling Hard To Kill starting at 8 p.m. Eastern/7 Central.
