Matt Sydal def. Fallah Bahh to retain the Impact Grand Championship
Sydal revealed he now has a “spiritual advisor” that has been guiding him. Sydal got the win with the Shooting Star Press.
Bobby Lashley def. KM
Lashley picked up the win over KM with a spear.
Jimmy Jacobs and Kongo Kong confronted Joseph Park backstage. They want Abyss to show up next week.
Backstage, Bobby Lashley says he plans to focus on both pro wrestling and MMA.
Kiera Hogan def. Impact Knockouts Champion Laurel Van Ness in a non-title match
Van Ness was distracted by Allie, allowing Hogan to roll up Van Ness and pick up the win.
Segment with Impact Tag Team Champions LAX and oVe. This setup Caleb Konley and Trever Lee jumping LAX and stealing their flags.
Moose and Johnny Impact def. Alberto El Patron and EC3
The finish say El Patron take out Impact with a double foot stomp, but Moose ran up and took out Patron with a big clothesline to pick up the pinfall victory.
Austin Aries becomes the new Impact World Champion
Impact World Champion Eli Drake and Chris Adonis came out for an Eli Drake’s Life Celebration. Adonis said Drake was the greatest champion that ever lived, the greatest dresser that ever lived and the greatest friend that ever lived.
Austin Aries made his return to the company and pointed out he was the greatest man that ever lived. Aries challenges Drake to a match, but Drake initially declines. Adonis then attacks Aries and Drake accepts Aries’ challenge for a shot at the championship.
Aries and Drake wrestled the match in street clothes. Aries hit his dropkick in the corner and then a brainbuster to become the new Impact World Champion!
