The official liaison between TNA and NXT, Arianna Grace, joined Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt for the opening contest as Knockouts World Tag Team Champions Ash & Heather By Elegance battled NXT’s Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley. Both NXT’s Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson, as well as Spitfire, were seen watching the match from backstage after being banned from ringside last week. The Personal Concierge would push Paxley off the top rope, as Ash capitalized with Rarified Air to win.

After the match, Paxley and Dolin buried Ash in her own cake at ringside.
Gia Miller interviewed Leon Slater, who promised revenge on Nic Nemeth in tonight’s main event.
An overwhelmed Ash By Elegance revealed that she is going on vacation after being embarrassed the last two weeks.

Chavo Guerrero Jr. made his long-awaited TNA in-ring return in his hometown of El Paso, Texas, as he joined forces with The Aztec Warriors to battle Frankie Kazarian and FIR$T CLA$$. The action was fast and furious as Chavo, Laredo and Octagon Jr. took control. Francis would illegally get involved from the apron, turning the tide in his team’s favor. Francis put his strength on display as he simultaneously lifted and slammed both of The Aztec Warriors. The pace quickened when Chavo went on the attack, delivering a signature series of suplexes to his opponents. Chavo would put Navarro away with the Gory Bomb, followed by the Frog Splash.

Rosemary delivered a chilling message to Xia Brookside.
Sami Callihan and Mance Warner were handcuffed for a War of Words, mediated by Director of Authority Santino Marella. Marella wanted them to get to the bottom of their issues, but both Callihan and Warner made it clear that their rivalry was far from over. Tensions exploded when Steph De Lander threw water in Callihan’s face. Marella also teased a special announcement regarding the TNA Digital Media Championship.

NXT’s Jacy Jayne faced off against the Knockouts World Champion, Masha Slamovich, following her blindside assault on the champ last week. Jayne was aggressive in the early going as she cut off Slamovich and delivered a running boot on the apron. Slamovich would fight back, pushing the pace with a flurry of offense. Jayne countered Requiem into a running knee strike for two. Slamovich dropped her face-first on the hardest part of the ring, before putting her away with the Snow Plow.

Afterwards, Tessa Blanchard, who was banned from ringside during the match, assaulted Slamovich from behind. Léi Yǐng Lee and Xia Brookside made the save for Slamovich.
The rivalry between Mike Santana and Mustafa Ali is about to explode.

Eric Young battled Ace Austin in a first-time-ever matchup. Young looked to prove a point to Steve Maclin when he turned his back to his opponent, and his allies in The Northern Armory immediately came to his aid. Young distracted the referee, which allowed Williams to hit Austin with a cheap shot from the outside. Young would go as far as biting Austin, before dropping an elbow into his chest. The Northern Armory got involved once again, as Young scored the victory off a vicious Piledriver.

We found out what was next for TNA World Champion Joe Hendry as he addressed the capacity crowd in El Paso, Texas. Hendry said that he has always been willing to put his title on the line against anyone, from any company. Hendry was confronted by Elijah, who told Hendry that he is not his next challenger – in fact, he believes in Joe Hendry.
Elijah was in the middle of an impromptu concert when he was interrupted by Call Your Shot Gauntlet winner Frankie Kazarian, who insulted El Paso with his own performance. Hendry and Elijah brought the fight to Kazarian, but Kazarian escaped as the crowd sang goodbye.

Leon Slater was out for revenge as he squared off with Nic Nemeth in the main event, following Nic’s shocking betrayal of Matt Hardy at Sacrifice. This marked another first-time-ever matchup tonight. Slater soared over the ring post, colliding with Nic on the floor. Nic made it apparent that he was targeting the left knee of Slater. Nic avoided the Swanton 450, then spiked him with the Famouser for two. Nic began to show his frustration after not being able to put Slater away. Slater connected with the Twist of Slate but Nic got his knees up on the Swanton 450. Ryan Nemeth got involved from the outside, as Nic capitalized with a superkick, followed by Danger Zone to win.

After the match, Nic and Ryan Nemeth continued the assault on Slater until the TNA World Tag Team Champions, The Hardys, chased them off. Matt got on the mic and said while they’re not currently cleared to compete, they will be by Rebellion on April 27. Matt laid out the challenge: The Hardys vs. Nic and Ryan Nemeth for the TNA World Tag Team Titles.
