TNA Wrestling has confirmed, as first reported on Tuesday by Sports Illustrated’s The Takedown, McKenzie Mitchell has been officially signed as TNA’s new ring announcer.
Before signing with WWE as a backstage correspondent for NXT, Mitchell was a backstage interviewer for TNA Wrestling from 2016 to 2019. WWE released her in December 2023.
Mitchell returned to TNA Wrestling at the promotion’s Genesis pay-per-view on January 13 as the ring announcer, replacing Jade Chung who left the company a month prior after her contract expired.
Mitchell is married to NXT play-by-play announcer Vic Joseph.
