Sami Callihan provides an update on his contract status with TNA Wrestling

During his appearance on the latest episode of the True Heat Wrestling podcast, Sami Callihan provided an update on his contract status with TNA Wrestling.

Callihan said that he will be with TNA Wrestling “for the foreseeable future.”

His previous contract with TNA Wrestling expired in September 2023. After that deal came to an end, he spent time in MLW and other independent promotions. He said that he could see himself retiring in TNA and maybe hopefully landing a behind the scenes role in the company.

Callihan also said the company is hot right now and that there is no better weekly episodic wrestling show on television that TNA, while also noting the company is selling more tickets and more pay-per-view event than they have in the past ten plus years.

In addition, Callihan also talks on Bound for Glory, Nic Nemeth vs Joe Hendry, the WWE partnership with the NXT brand and more.

Callihan made his surprise return to TNA Wrestling at the Rebellion PPV on April 20, 2024, helping Jordynne Grace retain the Knockouts World Title over Steph De Lander, when he attacked Kon, Jason Hotch and John Skyler.
