According to PWInsider, IMPACT Wrestling is going to be making “massive upgrades” to its production facility and temporarily changing their taping schedule. The company was said to have held an “all hands on deck” meeting Sunday night in Toronto before the Emergence pay-per-view special.
PWInsider notes the following in their report:
The massive upgrades are expected to take over a month to complete. The upgrades will bring “state-of-the-art production technology and advances” to the IMPACT Wrestling on AXS and pay-per-view events. As a result, adjustments will be made to the current taping schedule. Also during the upgrade period, less talent will be used after the Bound For Glory PPV. However, Anthem will reportedly be paying day rate talent for extra days through the remainder of the year.
The events in the United Kingdom will be taped for episodes of IMPACT Wrestling on AXS TV.
The company is planning another IPWF 80s-style throwback television taping in Toronto, which will take place at Santino Marella’s Battle Arts Academy on November 11.
There will be an event with AAA sometime in November.
The Final Resolution PPV special will reportedly take place on December 11.
January’s Hard To Kill PPV will reportedly be held in Las Vegas at a venue directly on the Las Vegas strip, as opposed to outside of the city, which has been done in the past.
IMPACT is not planning on any talent releases.
