The following is news and notes coming out last Saturday’s IMPACT Wrestling television tapings at Cicero Stadium in Chicago, Illinois.
Scott Armstrong started in a behind the scenes role as a producer and also as a referee. He worked for the original TNA as far as back as 2002, before he ended up signing with WWE following the sale of WCW.
WWE released Armstrong this past January after spending 15 years in the company. He was let-go, alongside his brother Brian “Road Dogg” James.

Sami Callihan came out at of the end of the night to challenge Moose and Steve Maclin to a barbed wire match. The date for Victory Road is said to be September 23rd, and airing live on IMPACT Plus.
