According to Bryan Alvarez at F4WOnline, PAC is getting an MRI on Thursday to assess his injury. In addition, per a report from Mike Johnson at PWInsider, PAC was seen backstage on crutches.
At the end of Wednesday night’s Dynamite, Samoa Joe of The Opps put out a challenge to Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta and PAC for the World Trios Championships. Depending on what the MRI reveals, it will remains to be seen how those creative plans are impacted.

PAC suffered a legitimate injury during his match with Swerve Strickland on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, in which an audible looked to have been called.
Both PWInsider and F4WOnline note that it is either his ankle or foot. After the match, which appeared to have ended early, PAC had to be helped to the back.
It appears the injury happened when Strickland hit a buckle bomb on PAC in the corner. PAC then immediately grabbed what looked to be his right foot/ankle/Achilles Strickland choked out PAC with his boot and then PAC rolled to the floor and was being checked on by AEW’s DOC Sampson, while the camera remained on Strickland in the ring.
As PAC was helped up to his feet, he then said something to the referee and had difficulty standing up and struggling with putting any weight on his foot. Strickland then nailed PAC with a superkick, followed by a Swerve Stomp off the top for the win. was helped up, said something to the referee, and slowly got back into the ring. He struggled to stand up while not putting any weight on the injured foot and was immediately hit by a superkick. Strickland then hit his Swerve Stomp off the top rope for the win.
