Chris Jericho on if he would consider returning to WWE

During his appearance at a recent Horror Rock and Wrestle Fest event, AEW star and current ROH World Champion Chris Jericho was asked if he would ever consider returning to WWE.

He answered with the following:

“I would have considered a return to WWE before things changed. Once again, there are two teams you can play on, which is amazing, and it’s one of the reasons why I wanted to take a chance and go to AEW in the first place, it was a real gamble…of course I would consider going back there. I would also consider not going back there too, it just depends on what the situation is and what’s going on with me at the time.”

The 54-year old Jericho has been with AEW since it’s initial launch back in 2019. He was the company’s inaugural World Champion. He is set to defend the ROH World Championship at tonight’s AEW Dynasty pay-per-view in a Title vs. Mask match against Bandido.

Prior to joining AEW, Jericho spent 15-years in WWE. During a September 2019 interview, Jericho said the United States Championship Match between himself and Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 33 being placed second on the card to Bill Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar, along with other creative issues was the deciding factor for him leaving WWE after his contract was up.
