The match “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and Bret “Hitman” Hart from WrestleMania 13 will be inducted into the 2025 WWE Hall of Fame Class. WWE aired an advertisement aired during Friday’s episode SmackDown announcing the induction.
The match, which will be inducted under the Immortal Moment category, was under No Disqualification Submission rules, saw Austin refusing to submit to Hart, but in the end passed out from a massive loss of blood while Hart had him locked in the sharpshooter, resulting in a double turn.
The Austin vs. Hart match now joins Triple H, Michelle McCool, Lex Luger and the Natural Disasters (Earthquake and Typhoon) as inductees into the 2025 WWE Hall of Fame Class. The ceremony is set to take place after SmackDown on April 18 at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas in the BleauLive Theater in Winchester, Nevada.
The ceremony will air live on Peacock in the United States and Netflix Internationally.
