WWE reportedly set to bring back PLE from 2018

According to F4WOnline and various other media outlets, WWE is reportedly set to bring back their all-women’s Evolution premium live event. The first and only event took place back on October 28, 2018 at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York.

F4WOnline also notes that the news was first reported by Cory Hays of PWNexus and then confirmed by Wrestlevotes. The PLE is reportedly scheduled to take place on July 5 at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.

Wrestlevotes says they who spoke with sources and can confirm Evolution will return this summer, with the announcement to be officially made before WrestleMania 41.

During a December 2019 interview with Talksport, Stephanie McMahon had said that she was hopeful that there would be an announcement regarding Evolution 2, but had nothing official was set in stone at the time.

Ronda Rousey vs. Nikki Bella and Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair were among the featured matches that took place on the show.
