Video: Lex Luger stands without fully relying on use of wheelchair

WWE Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page and Lex Lugar shared an update on the former WWE and WCW star. Page through his DDP Yoga, has been working with Luger to regain better mobility.

In the video, Luger is shown being able to stand up without fully needing his wheelchair for assistance.

On October 19, 2007, Luger suffered a nerve impingement in his neck that led to temporary paralysis after suffering a spinal stroke. Nearly a month after the stroke, Luger was still in a quadriplegic state, having no movement in his arms or legs.

Luger has been able to stand on his own for short periods and walk using a walker. In 2014, Luger began using a wheelchair on a regular basis, even though he was still able to walk for short distances. In 2021 Luger became fully reliant on a wheelchair for mobility.
