Report: Three-time WWE World Tag Team Champions signed to legends deals

According to PWInsider Elite, three-time WWE World Tag Team Champions Demolition (Bill Eadie and Barry Darsow) reportedly have signed legends deals with the company.

Eadie went by the in-ring name of Ax and Darsow went by the in-ring name of Smash, were together as Demolition from 1987 to 1991. Both men retired from pro-wrestling in 2017.

Eadie underwent a legal battle with WWE over the rights to the Demolition name and gimmick, but lost.

In the summer of 2016, Eadie and Darsow were named part of a class action lawsuit that was filed against WWE, which alleged that wrestlers incurred traumatic brain injuries during their time in WWE and that the company concealed the risks of injury. The lawsuit was dismissed by US District Judge Vanessa Lynne Bryant in September 2018.

The report of Demolition signing legends deals, come just days after the tag team’s profile is back up on the Alumni section of WWE.com.
