Asuka says that WWE and TKO is taking action to protect her after “feeling in danger”

Asuka took to social media to follow up on her recent statement where she addressed concerns regarding scary fan interactions, with social media posts stating not to have “romantic feelings” for her and noting she had consulted authorities after “feeling in danger” due to a recent incident.

The former women’s champion has stated that WWE and TKO are taking action to protect her.

The issues initially raised by Asuka on social media follow an incident from back in August of 2020 which saw Phillip Thomas arrested and charged with aggravated stalking, armed burglary of a dwelling, attempted armed kidnapping, and criminal mischief for breaking into the home of Sonya Deville. He had a knife and zip ties on him at the time of his arrest.

Asuka who last competed at Backlash 2024, has been out of action following knee surgery.
