Sources within WWE have confirmed that Hulk Hogan will not be appearing as scheduled for the 1/25 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event, despite being advertised heavily for the show.
As first reported by Chris Featherstone, the WWE Hall of Famer is unavailable for WWE’s second primetime special with NBCUniversal due to family commitments.
The following lineup is advertised for Saturday Night’s Main Event, emanating from the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas on January 25 and airing on NBC and Peacock starting at 8:00 pm Eastern.
- World Heavyweight Championship: Gunther defends against Jey Uso
- Women’s World Championship: Rhea Ripley defends against Nia Jax
- Intercontinental Championship: Bron Breakker defends against Sheamus
- Braun Strowman vs. Jacob Fatu
- Shawn Michaels will be the special enforcer for a Royal Rumble contract signing between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens
