PCO made a statement at The People vs. GCW event, following his victory in the Kickoff Rumble.
The TNA Digital Media Champion placed his title across a steel chair, smashing it several times with a sledgehammer before cutting a promo about his frustrations with the company he’d been signed with for the past year.
The promo was cut short as the feed cut to an advertisement, and PCO was gone from the ring by the time the feed returned.
PWInsider reported that the ‘rant and destruction of a TNA title’ inside the Hammerstein Ballroom were a legitimate situation, as PCO’s contract with the company expired at the end of last year.
PCO later responded to a fan on social media, giving a hint of where his frustrations came from.
TNA has not responded to the incident as of this writing, coming off their Genesis pay-per-view event the same night as The People vs. GCW.
