Per PWInsider, United States District of Connecticut District Judge Sarah F. Russell has issued a ruling regarding Janel Grant’s attempts to have a status conference on her lawsuit against Vince McMahon, WWE, and John Laurinaitis.
Ultimately denying the motion, Judge Russell noted that the previous stay in the lawsuit has been lifted, so Grant’s counsel can file an amended complaint against the defendants by 1/31 and include any argument in that filing.
The judge also denied WWE and McMahon’s attempts to move the case to arbitration until Grant files an amended complaint, with the court potentially making a ruling on the matter after 1/31 should the complaint not be filed by that date.
