Jeff Hardy believes he ‘would probably be bigger than John Cena’

Appearing on Dallas television ahead of TNA’s television tapings later this month, Jeff Hardy discussed his career and how things could have gone differently if he had taken better care of himself early on.

The way I was living life in my 20s and 30s, and if I was living life the way I’m living life now, oh my gosh, there’s no telling. I would probably be bigger than John Cena today because I was born with such a gift to be a pro wrestler. It just felt so natural and like I was totally created to do this thing. And the cool thing about that is I’m still here. I still have life, and I feel good.

To his credit, Hardy has won singles and tag team gold across many promotions, including runs with the World Championship in WWE and TNA.

The TNA World Tag Team Champion also talked about how he and his brother Matt have been taking better care of themselves lately, with the use of ice baths being a big help:

As Matt had mentioned, we’re big ice baths, and that’s been crazy beneficial for me mentally and physically. So yeah, I don’t put a number on it. I’ll just pretty much wrestle until I can’t wrestle anymore.

The Hardys are scheduled to defend the titles at TNA Genesis on January 19 against The Rascalz of Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz.
