Rhea Ripley is the new WWE Women’s World Champion.
Ripley defeated Liv Morgan to once again become the new champion.
Below is an excerpt from Mike Tedesco’s WWE Raw recap of how the title change went down.
Morgan starts up the Three Amigos and completes the trifecta. Michael Cole says that was done to mock Eddie Guerrero’s legacy, as Dom Mysterio does. Morgan shimmies a la Eddie Guerrero as she goes to the top rope, and she connects with a Frog Splash on Ripley! 1… 2… Ripley kicks out! Ripley is struggling to get to her feet. Morgan goes for Ob-Liv-ion, but Ripley holds her up. Ripley looks into Morgan’s eyes and shakes her head. Morgan is terrified. Ripley slams Morgan down and connects with a massive Riptide. Ripley rolls Morgan over and powers her up for a second Riptide! Ripley covers 1… 2… 3! New champion!
