WWE quietly cancels SmackDown LowDown

According to SmackDown LowDown host Scott Stanford, the show has been canceled.

Stanford responded to a fan on social media inquiring if the show would be airing on Friday night after SmackDown. Stanford told the fan that the show would not air and is all wrapped up. Stanford hosted the show with Megan Morant.

SmackDown LowDown aired from October 2020 until December 27, 2024, as a weekly post-show containing several interviews during each episode. The show initially began as Talking Smack on the free tier of WWE Network. The name change, however came after A&E began a show called Smack Talk in 2022.

During SmackDown’s run on FOX, SmackDown LowDown aired during Saturday afternoons on Peacock in the United States and WWE Network internationally. After SmackDown moved back to the USA Network this past September, SmackDown LowDown returned to Friday’s after SmackDown went off the air.

WWE announced there will be a Raw post-show airing on their social media accounts following the big Netflix premiere on Monday.
