With NXT Level Up coming to an end, WWE is reportedly set to bring a new show to focus on the up and coming developmental talent.
In this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that NXT Evolve is coming ‘at some point’ in 2025, headed up creatively by longtime wrestling executive and EVOLVE founder Gabe Sapolsky.
It was noted that the essence of the show would be similar to Level Up in featuring developmental wrestlers who aren’t regulars on NXT television, but with angles and promos that will make the program “more like a television show.”
The report comes after some speculation over a similar project after WWE purchased the EVOLVE promotion in 2020, which followed a partnership dating back to 2015.
Additional notes from PWInsider state that tapings are believed to be held at the Performance Center using talent under WWE ID deals, which may account for some of the prospects being shown recently on NXT television.
Sapolsky’s role comes after signing a new contract with WWE in late 2024, but it is believed that the upcoming LFG show on A&E is still considered the “successor” to Level Up.
