Prior to NXT going live on the air, WWE taped a match for the new WWE LFG (WWE Legends and Future Greats) coming to A&E.
Elijah Holyfield, former Cincinnati Bengal and son of former heavyweight world champion boxer Evander Holyfield made his official in-ring debut during the taping. We reported on Tuesday late in the day that WWE was possibly taping a match for the new reality show at NXT, prior the show going on the air.
Also, Shotzi made her surprise return to NXT. Shotzi had been out of action since February, after tearing her ACL at an NXT after trying to do perform a DDT on the apron.
