Big title change takes place at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames on Saturday

Shinsuke Nakamura is the new WWE United States Champion, defeating LA Knight at Saturday’s Survivor Series: WarGames.

Knight held the United States Championship for 119 days, having won the title from Logan Paul back at SummerSlam on August 3 at Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio.

Below is an excerpt from Mike Tedesco’s WWE Survivor Series: WarGames recap, as to how the title change went down.

Nakamura sizes Knight up for a Kinshasa, but Knight avoids it. Knight slams Nakamura down and goes to the second rope. Knight hits a springboard diving elbow drop and gets fired up. Knight signals for Blunt Force Trauma, but Nakamura rolls between the two rings. Knight follows him out, but Nakamura attacks him. Knight blocks a suplex and goes for one, but Nakamura pokes him in the eyes. Nakamura hits a reverse DDT on the steel platform between the two rings! Knight is writhing in pain. Nakamura hits a Kinshasa to the back of the head for the win!
